Following the success of the 2014 campaign, we knew that we had a big task ahead of us to come up with something with as much impact. Given that last year’s shoot and brand launch focussed on the water element of the Rapids name, this year we though we would focus on a more dynamic series of images.

We art directed a photoshoot with a paint powder explosion effect created in post production. The tag line of ‘Expect Explosions’ was coined and used throughout. A wide variety of cricketing poses were shot, giving huge flexibility for the advertising on match days and the various print and digital promotions required.

We’re also immensely proud to have created the first TV advert for a county cricket side with the paint explosions a running theme throughout. Keep your eyes peeled!
