As any designer, studio or agency knows, it is very difficult to design for yourself – we are our own worst clients! however, it is also an opportunity to showcase your ability and also demonstrate lesser used techniques.
For Beard’s new business cards, we decided to do just that. The board chosen was a duplex of GF Smith Colorplan Bright White Board 270gsm and GF Colorplan Pistachio 270gsm, which has a lovely tactile feel and a nice weight too. The cards were then letterpressed with 2 colours and left with a slight deboss to add to the feel.
We are really pleased with the results, and have already had a lot of comments about them – all positive so far too!
